HUNTER HAYES AND CODY JOHNSON LEAD FIRST-EVER SOLD-OUT CO-HEADLINING CONCERT AT ASCEND AMPHITHEATER DURING CMA FEST

Joined By Warner Music Nashville Label-Mates Ingrid Andress, Tucker Beathard and Ashley McBryde

For the third consecutive year, Warner Music Nashville brought together some of its biggest stars and brightest up-and-comers for a thrilling line-up that performed Saturday (6/8) night on the Firestone Country Roads Stage at Ascend Amphitheater during CMA Fest. Five-time GRAMMY-nominee Hunter Hayes and chart-topping entertainer Cody Johnson became the first co-headliners to sell out the stage in CMA Fest history.

Breakout artists Ingrid Andress and Tucker Beathard got the night started, followed by award-winning singer / songwriter Ashley McBryde, who brought the crowd to an emotional hush during her poignant ballad “Girl Goin’ Nowhere.” Hayes performed a back to back set-list of several hit songs, including his global cross-over smash “Wanted.” Johnson then wowed the crowd with an electrifying performance, closing out the evening with his current single “On My Way To You,” which rapidly approaches Top 5 at country radio.

The evening also included a special partnership between Warner Music Nashville and Musically Fed, an organization that works with artists and their teams to distribute excess food items/catering from events to the hungry and food insecure. In conjunction with the WMN staff, Musically Fed was able to collect three truckloads of frozen food, dry goods and more that they then delivered to Room at the Inn, Nashville Rescue Mission and Women’s Rescue Mission.
