Beginning January 23, fans can log on to his website for the “MixBoard Experience” to Interact With His Hit Single, “Storm Warning”

NASHVILLE, TN - (January 20, 2012) - Multi-talented musician, writer, producer and performer Hunter Hayes will make his Good Morning America debut Monday, January 23rd performing his hit single "Storm Warning" from his self-titled Atlantic Records album. Hunter will host WKMK's morning show on January 25th before his performance at the New York's Highline Ballroom that evening. This is a headline date between dates on Rascal Flatts "Thaw Out 2012" tour, which kicked off on January 12th.

Beginning Monday, January 23rd, Hunter launches a unique way for fans to interact with his hit single, “Storm Warning” on his website called the “MixBoard Experience”. Fans can use the virtual mixboard to create their own audio and video versions of “Storm Warning”, much like how Hunter, who plays every instrument on his album, would. The mixer features five different videos that comprise parts of the song including: drums, bass, vocal, acoustic, and utility. With each of the five videos, fans can experiment with volume levels, muting various sections of the song, solos, and more to create their own custom mix. Among the many extraordinary things about Hunter Hayes, the multi-talented musician, writer, producer and performer, perhaps what is most astonishing is that in truth, he’s just getting started. And it is that fact which holds the promise of Hunter Hayes becoming one of the most significant musical talents to emerge, not just from Nashville, but from anywhere, in a long, long time.

Already, he has accomplishments beyond most musicians wildest dreams: Singing “Jambalaya” with Hank Williams Jr. in front of 200,000 people (15 million YouTube views) at the age of four; appearing with Robert Duvall (who gave Hunter his first guitar) in “The Apostle” at the age of six; playing with Johnny and June Cash, and Charlie Daniels at a BBQ; performing for President Clinton and many more. Newcomer Categories Combined For One New Artist of the Year Award

Encino, CA (January 13, 2012) – The Academy of Country Music and Great American Country (GAC) announced today that for the fourth consecutive year, the newcomer category for the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards — New Artist of the Year—will be opened up to interactive fan voting through VoteACM.com and GACtv.com/ACM, beginning Monday, January 16, 2012.

The Academy of Country Music combined all newcomer categories into a single combined, overall category for New Artist of the Year. The New Artist of the Year award absorbs all newcomer categories including New Male Vocalist, New Female Vocalist, New Vocal Duo, New Vocal Group, New Solo Vocalist and New Vocal Duo or Group categories from past years, and the winner will be revealed on the LIVE telecast at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The show is produced for television by dick clark productions and will be broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.

The top 8 artists from the first round of ACM professional voting are considered semi-finalists and will compete via the GAC fan vote at GACtv.com/ACM, combined with the ACM professional membership vote, to determine the final 3 nominees for the Award. The final 3 nominees will compete for the trophy, with a combined fan and professional membership vote to determine the winner.

The GAC “ACM New Artist of the Year” special will feature interviews and exclusive performances with the final three nominees. That special premieres March 19 at 9:00 PM ET and airs through April 1.
